Madagascar is divided in two by a high ridge. The center of this is the Andringitra Mountains. The east side is very green and wet under the influence of the Indian Ocean, the west side dry and warm because of the winds coming from Africa. You’ll spend three nights in an incredibly beautiful camp in the Tsaranoro Valley in the middle of this mountain range. From here, mountain tours and other walks can be undertaken.

In the Lost World of the Makay, on the infamous national route number 5, between the baobabs and spiny forests of the dry and dusty west: we feel at home. But we also follow the little explored south loop from the Cape of Sainte Marie to the misty hills of the wet southeast or sail for days between the reed beds of the Pangalanes Canal. Nothing is unknown to us.
