How can I stay informed about news from Madafocus and Madagascar?

Very simple: subscribe to our newsletter.
You’ll regularly receive Malagasy inspiration straight in your inbox.

How do my clients receive their travel preparation and itinerary?

In the first proposal we outline the journey day by day. This includes the route, the planned activities and a description of the accommodations.

Once your client confirms the trip, they receive, depending on the arrangements we have made, access to our travel app where the detailed itinerary is available online. That way your clients always have their programme at hand.

In which languages does Madafocus assist you and your clients?

We’re proud to have grown into the leading DMC in Madagascar for travellers in English, German and Dutch. We also happily assist in French and other languages.

Madafocus founder Frank Janssens is a multilingual Belgian who has been living in Madagascar for many years. This makes communication smooth and easy.

I’d like to get to know Madafocus. What’s the first step?

Great to hear you’re interested in our DMC.

Inspiring your clients with an adventurous round trip through the incredibly beautiful landscapes of Madagascar, that’s what we guarantee. Along the way, they discover the beauty and diversity of the Red Island in a socially and ecologically responsible way.

Would you first like to learn more about what Madafocus stands for? You can find more information on this page.

Madafocus is a sustainable DMC. What does that mean?

We’re proud to share that Madafocus is part of Travelife, an internationally recognised sustainability certification programme for the tourism sector.

As a Travelife partner, we actively commit to sustainable tourism. You can read about our concrete actions here.

When you work or travel with Madafocus you contribute to a more sustainable Madagascar. Your clients enjoy an unforgettable adventure, while travelling in a way that respects both nature and local communities.

What exactly is an “adventurous round trip”?

To give travellers the most complete experience of Madagascar, we believe the best way to discover the island is by travelling around it.

Because once you start exploring Madagascar, adventure naturally follows.

When people hear the word “adventure”, they sometimes think of activities that are outside their comfort zone. Experiences only for the very brave.

At Madafocus, however, we design trips for everyone: young and less young, fit and less fit. The level of adventure always depends on the travel group.

When is the best time for travellers to visit Madagascar?

In short: almost all year round, except for January, February and early March. During these months the rainy season brings long and heavy rainfall.

All other months are wonderful for your clients.

Discover the different seasons and their unique charms here.

Why should Madagascar be part of my travel offering?

Did you know Madagascar is the fourth largest island in the world?

Thanks to its continental characteristics, the Red Island offers travellers an incredible variety of landscapes.

One destination, three different climate zones (read more about the three zones of Madagascar). A fascinating mix of European, African and Asian influences, combined with extraordinary wildlife and plant life. The perfect gateway to discovering Africa.

Madagascar is not always top of mind for travellers. But we bet you’ll surprise them with this destination.
