Provisional bookings: save time and satisfy your travellers
If you are a travel agent or tour operator planning a trip, availability is key. For travellers who come to Madagascar for a tour focused on adventure and activities, accommodation is often a secondary matter. In our experience, however, most tourists link their holiday to the place where they are staying. For people who want to end their trip to Madagascar relaxing on one of the idyllic beach paradises, it’s lovely to stay in the charming or luxurious lodges or hotels of their choice.
In practice, we often see that the option deadline passes, and certain accommodation is no longer available. And then our team goes looking for equivalent alternatives. One consequence may be that your travellers feel disappointed if their original hotels are unavailable. We may be able to prevent that by making a provisional booking and sticking to the response time.
